Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba has revealed his delight to be a part of the 'professional' set-up at the Reebok Stadium.
The 21-year-old moved to the Trotters at the beginning of last season after former club Birmingham City were relegated from the Premier League.
And now Muamba admits he is glad to be part of a club that is free of the instability that blighted his time at the Blues.
"You look around and Bolton is a great club," he told the Daily Star.
"Everything about it is very professional. From top to bottom things run smoothly. There is no Mickey Mouse stuff here - it is only proper stuff going on here."
Muamba will clash with his old club on Saturday when Bolton travel to St Andrews hoping to extend their unbeaten league run to three games.
Although he was firm in his desire to leave the club in the summer of 2008, the England Under-21 international says he is looking forward to the return.
"This will be my first return to Birmingham," Muamba added.
"I am looking forward to it and going back to see the boys I used to play alongside, but my main aim is to get three points.
"I never had a problem with anyone there and I was very straightforward when it came to leaving.
"They understood my point and I enjoyed my time there but this is now a different chapter in my life."
Muamba also claimed that the experienced set-up at Bolton is the key difference he sees between the two sides.
He said: "I am surrounded here by people who have been there and done it in the game. While I was at Birmingham it was more inexperienced.
"That is the biggest difference. Some things happen in life for a reason."
