Barnsley boss Mark Robins has brought in goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski on a week-long emergency loan deal from Southampton.
Robins was granted permission to bring in the 22-year-old Pole after David Preece suffered an injury during Saturday's defeat at QPR.
Bialkowski is now set to face West Brom on Tuesday night and Ipswich at the weekend before returning to the South Coast next Monday, where he acts as back-up for Kelvin Davies.
Robins told his club's official website: "We have a goalkeeping crisis at the moment after David rocked his ankle in the second half at QPR.
"We have been working around the clock to bring another keeper in and thankfully we have Bartosz Bialkowski from Southampton in the building today."
Saints boss Alan Pardew added: "I felt it was important that Bartosz went out and got some games to help keep his spirits up.
"I think he was losing focus a little bit here, so it's a good opportunity for him to play."
