Okaka Chuka & Perrotta give Roma the win

Roma picked up their first win in Group E with a 2-0 success over CSKA Sofia at the Stadio Olimpico. First-half goals from Stefano Okaka Chuka and Simone Perrotta in a devastating three-minute spell were enough to give Claudio Ranieri's men the three points. After a quiet start Roma broke the deadlock on 20 minutes when Okaka Chuka picked up a pass from Marco Motta and drilled a shot past CSKA keeper Ivan Karadzhov. Roma doubled the advantage three minutes later when Italian international Perrotta turned home David Pizarro's left-wing cross from close range. CSKA rarely threatened the Roma goal as the Italian giants bounced back from their opening defeat to Basle.
