Juventus midfielder Mohamed Sissoko says he can not wait to get on the pitch again after a frustrating spell on the sidelines.
The 24-year-old former Liverpool star has been out of action since fracturing his left foot against Torino in March.
But the powerful midfielder hopes to get his first start back against Fiorentina on Saturday.
He told skysports.com: "I am delighted to comeback, I am like a baby with his first Christmas gift.
"I can't wait to start - Fiorentina on Saturday, what a comeback game!
"They have done well in the Champions League against my old club, but I am ready to play.
"We are going for the title again this season so we need the points in the bag."
Sissoko is also looking forward to playing on the international stage with Mali, who have missed out on next summer's World Cup but qualified for the African Nations Cup by beating Sudan on Sunday.
He added: "I am also happy for Mali to qualify for the African Nations Cup, we missed the World Cup but let's pray for another opportunity in 2014."
