United linked with move for Wolves striker Vokes

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is considering a dip into the loan market to boost his injury-hit squad ahead of Monday's clash with Norwich. Leeds have a number of key players sidelined including strikers Luciano Becchio and Tresor Kandol, and Grayson admits he is keeping an eye out for players who may improve his squad. United have been heavily linked with a move for Wolves teenager Sam Vokes amid reports in The Mirror he is set to sign before Monday's game with the Canaries but Grayson is playing his cards close to his chest. "I've spoken to different managers and if I feel it is right to bring someone in we will do because we're always looking to improve things," he told Leeds' official website. "There are players out there who I know are ready to come here - and I've been told there are players who would rather come here than join a Championship club. "Those players are players who want to come here for the right reasons but whether we do anything or not we'll wait and see. "We're constantly looking at the situation and we've been keeping an eye on certain players if we feel the situation arises where we do need to bring someone in."
