Keeper fears clubs may poach in-form forward

Rotherham goalkeeper Andy Warrington believes it is vital the club keep hold of in-form striker Adam Le Fondre. Warrington believes Le Fondre holds the key to the club's promotion push after plundering 10 goals in 13 appearances since joining from Rochdale in August, and in the process helping Ronnie Moore's men to move into fourth in the League Two table. Warrington has urged United's board to resist any approaches they may get for the 22-year-old in the January transfer window. "It is imperative we keep hold of him," he told the Sheffield Star. "Everybody knows the commitment of the chairman and the way the club is progressing and we need people like Adam at the club who are going to score us the goals to try and get us promoted. "I am sure there will be people looking at him. Everybody wants a goalscorer no matter what division you are playing in and Adam is definitely one. "I think he has been fantastic for us. I knew what a good player he was at Rochdale but he has gone up even higher in my estimation."
