Northampton have extended the loan of Middlesbrough defender John Johnson until the new year.
The full-back has made six appearances during his first month at Sixfields and scored a late equaliser to earn a point against Bradford.
Cobblers boss Ian Sampson said: "We are pleased that John will be here for another couple of months.
"He has settled in really well and he is enjoying his football.
"We thank Middlesbrough for their assistance and I am sure the experience John is getting here will be of benefit to him."
