Bayern Munich team manager Uli Hoeness has revealed the club are set to sell a number of their players in January.
Italy international Luca Toni, as well as defenders Breno, Christian Lell and Andreas Goerlitz, plus midfielders Anatoli Timoschtschuk, Jose Sosa and Alexander Baujohann could all leave the Allianz Arena during the Bundesliga's winter break.
"The squad will surely be smaller after the winter break," Hoeness told German magazine Sport-Bild.
"People will stay as long as they prove themselves, but I assume there will be some changes."
Chairman Karl Heinz Rummenigge had previously stated that Toni's future was 100 per cent with the German side, although the player has revealed he would be open to a move to Serie A outfit Napoli.
Bayern currently lie fifth in the Bundesliga table, with 18 points from 10 games, and coach Luis Van Gaal has been under pressure so far this season.
