Hearts midfielder Michael Stewart has accused certain sections of the club's fans of knowing little about football.
The club captain came under fire last weekend following Hearts' goalless draw with rock-bottom Falkirk at Tynecastle.
Stewart maintained his place in the side against Celtic in midweek and scored the winner in their Co-Operative Insurance Cup win at Parkhead.
The 28-year-old remains disappointed with his reception last weekend, but insists only manager Csaba Laszlo's opinion counts.
"The only opinion that counts to me is the boss and thankfully we agree on most things," explained Stewart.
"There are a lot of people who come to football grounds and don't know a lot about football. But they voice their opinion and it can be heard in the masses.
"That's football, you have highs and lows and they can turn round quickly, that's what happened this week.
"What happened on Saturday happened, I don't agree with it but everyone is entitled to their own opinion."
