Juve midfielder linked with move to German side

Wolfsburg defender Ricardo Costa is happy at reports linking his club with a move for Juventus midfielder Tiago. Tiago is under contract with the Italian side until 2012 but speculation has mounted that the German outfit could swoop in the January transfer window. The 28-year-old Portugal international's previous clubs include Benfica, Chelsea and Lyon, and Costa said his signature would be a great addition to the Wolfsburg squad. "Tiago is an extremely good player," he said. "Should the club be able to sign him, the quality inside the squad would be upped, there should be no doubt about it. "He is a midfielder I rate highly." Meanwhile, Wolfsburg could be about to part ways with full-back Rodrigo Alvim, who has only made two appearances since the beginning of last season. Benfica are reportedly keeping tabs on the player as current manager Jorge Jesus has worked with him in the past.
