Hungarian quashes speculation after manager feud

QPR midfielder Akos Buzsaky denies that he has handed in a transfer request following his bust-up with Jim Magilton. Rangers manager Magilton has been suspended by the club for allegedly head-butting the midfielder after the 3-1 defeat away at Watford on Monday night. But the 27-year-old Hungarian has firmly denied that he has handed in a transfer request, which had been widely speculated. "It is not true at all," he told the club's official website. "I am entirely focused on our next fixture against West Bromwich Albion on Monday night. "We are in a strong position just three points outside the play-offs and as professional footballers our sole aim is to focus on the upcoming matches." The club have yet to confirm who will be in charge for the upcoming games, with Magilton expected to be suspended for the foreseeable future, although Sky Sports News sources understand that assistant manager John Gorman and reserve team boss Keith Ryan are backing Magilton. It is thought that the duo will not return to work at Loftus Road unless Magilton is reinstated by the club. The Northern Irish tactician's suspension relates to allegations that he reacted angrily to Buzsaky's response when he asked whether he thought he was being bullied. The Hungarian has played 15 times in the Championship for QPR this season, finding the back of the net on seven occasions.
