Watford goalkeeper Scott Loach has admitted he would think about joining Tottenham amidst reports the Premier League club are considering a January bid.
Harry Redknapp is understood to be an admirer of the England Under 21 international and is thought to be keen on a shot-stopper after Carlo Cudicini's motorbike crash.
The Spurs boss has announced that he is happy with his squad ahead of the winter transfer window but the wheeler dealer could still be pondering a move for Loach, with Watford looking to raise funds.
Members of Tottenham's coaching staff are rumoured to have watched Watford's No.1 and he is intrigued by Premier League football, however, his priority is to earn Malky Mackay's team a place in the top flight.
Loach told the Watford Observer: "If Tottenham were to knock on the door and I was to go there, then brilliant but at the minute it is Malky and Watford.
"I am confident that I will play in the Premier League one day but at the moment, I have to concentrate on getting Watford to the Premier League."
He added: "The Premier League is where I want to be and hopefully I can achieve it and stay here at Watford because I need a full season."
Loach, a regular in England U21 boss Stuart Pearce's team, is also refusing to rule out the possibility that he could earn a place in Fabio Capello's full squad for the 2010 World Cup.
He said: "You never know what can happen in football. Theo Walcott went (to the 2006 World Cup) when nobody had heard of him, that is why you have to keep performing.
"You don't think I am going to the World Cup. Obviously I would be surprised but I just have to keep working."
Loach added: "To be part of the squad would be unbelievable but to be honest you don't think about it.
"Capello, is like the Tottenham thing, if it happens, it happens, if not then I am concentrating on playing on this pitch every day and enjoying it."
