Schalke head coach Felix Magath has confessed that he does not know Brazilian defender Rafinha's whereabouts.
The 24-year-old jetted off for his Christmas holidays following the Bundesliga break and is yet to report back.
Magath's team have now returned to training in Gelsenkirchen, however, Rafinha is absent, leaving his manager completely perplexed.
"I don't know where he is," he told Kicker. "I must find out first what has happened."
Peru forward Jefferson Farfan and Brazilian defender Bordon were also absent but they had obtained permission for a late return after the Christmas break, according to reports in Germany.
