Ivorian ace wants schedule to be looked at

Kolo Toure has again voiced his concerns over the timing of the African Cup of Nations. The Ivory Coast star is one of a host of European-based players who have jetted off to Angola to take part in Africa's elite event. However, the African tournament is out of tune with the rest of world football and takes place in the middle of most countries domestic leagues. And Toure admits, that although, he loves playing in the tournament - he would like to see it moved to the summer in order to make sure they do not miss a chunk of their domestic campaign. "It is very difficult to leave your team for a month to play in the African Nations," he said. "But you are playing for your country, for your father, for your family, for your pride. "If something can happen and something can move, it would be really fantastic for us. "We are caught between two really important things in our lives but we have to go there and play for our pride. "You have a great job with your club and start something. You just want to keep this focus but then you have to go to play for your country. It is not easy for us."
