Wigan manager Roberto Martinez has revealed he is in no rush to sell Daniel de Ridder and Erik Edman.
Israeli side Hapoel Tel-Aviv are desperate to secure De Ridder's services but chairman Amir Lublin admits they are struggling to get the necessary financial package in place to pull off the deal.
Dutchman De Ridder, who holds a dual passport due to his Israeli mother, would welcome that chance of first-team football as he has yet to feature at the DW Stadium this season.
Edman has also been linked with a move to Sheffield United during the January transfer window but Martinez has already offloaded Won-Hee Cho and Olivier Kapo and insists he will only sell the duo if the price is right.
Martinez told the Wigan Evening Post: "There has been interest in Daniel and Erik, but obviously it has to be the right thing for both the player and the football club.
"I'm sure that there will be some more movement before the window closes."
Martinez, meanwhile, has received positive news about the injuries suffered by Paul Scharner and Mario Melchiot in the weekend victory over Wolves.
"The inflammation from Mario's nose has gone down and Paul's knee has reacted very well," he added.
