Derby manager Nigel Clough has confirmed he would like to extend the loan deals of DJ Campbell, Nicky Hunt and Lee Johnson.
The trio are set to return to their parent clubs at the end of the month but Clough has been impressed with all three.
He would like to keep Leicester striker Campbell, Bolton defender Hunt and Bristol City midfielder Johnson for the rest of the season.
Clough is also keen to make more loan signings to help the Rams push on from their current position in the bottom half of the table.
"I think we would like to keep the three loans we have got until the end of the season so we will be talking to their clubs to see what we can do," he said.
"On top of that, we would like to add two or three fresh loans to what we have. We are trying to bring players in and we have irons in the fire."
Meanwhile, teenage defender Jermaine Johnson has returned to Derby following his three-month loan spell at Blue Square North side Stafford Rangers.
