Ipswich Town goalkeeper Arran Lee-Barrett is set to sign an extension to his current contract at Portman Road.
Once the 25-year-old puts pen-to-paper, he will be tied to the Championship outfit until at least the summer of 2011.
Lee-Barrett was drafted in by Town boss Roy Keane back in August, agreeing a short-term deal following the retirement of Shane Supple.
He has greatly impressed the club's coaching staff since then, forcing his way into the first-team fold, and has been suitably rewarded with fresh terms.
"I think Arran should be signing today (Thursday) and he deserves a new contract," Keane told the club's official website.
"He has done well for us but the hard work starts now.
"He knows he has got to battle on with Brian Murphy for the No.1 jersey and who knows if there will be another keeper coming in."
