Leeds United are closing in on the capture of Leicester City's Max Gradel after agreeing a fee for his services, skysports.com understands.
Gradel has spent three months on loan with the Whites this season and has proved a big hit with the Elland Road faithful.
Within 10 minutes of his League One debut against Norwich City the home crowd were calling for manager Simon Grayson to sign him up.
The 22-year-old's loan deal expired recently, but Leeds are now thought to have reached a deal with the Foxes over a permanent transfer.
Gradel had been training with Leicester on Friday, however, he is no longer part of their squad to play Cardiff in the FA Cup this weekend.
The Ivorian signalled his intention to quit Leicester on Friday after the club confirmed he submitted a transfer request.
The skilful winger is now expected to thrash out personal terms with Leeds ahead of securing a permanent move to West Yorkshire.
