Burnley's new manager Brian Laws has confirmed the club are holding transfer talks over Celtic left-back Danny Fox.
Laws knows all about the 23-year-old's ability having seen the former Coventry defender in action during his time at the helm of Sheffield Wednesday.
Earlier in the week Tony Mowbray confirmed Fox had the chance to move on and now Laws has revealed the Turf Moor side are in transfer talks.
However, Laws is not getting too excited at wrapping up the deal for the full-back as Burnley are just one of a number of possible destinations.
Laws has been busy in the transfer market recently after signing the likes of Frederic Nimani, Nicky Weaver and Leon Cort to Burnley.
"He's one of quite a few players that I'm talking to and one thing very evident is that they all want to come here and that's very, very pleasing," confirmed Laws.
"He's one of many options, and if it's not Fox it will be someone else.
"No deal has been done yet and we have done a lot of talking with a lot of people.
"We can't say one player is the first choice because he might not want to come or we can't do the deal, so you have got to have options A, B and C.
"I'm trying to sign a few more players, I'm hoping to conclude at least a couple more players before the window shuts."
