Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill admits he has a selection dilemma over who to play in goal for the Carling Cup final.
Villa face Manchester United in the Wembley showpiece on 28th February, having already taken four points off the Red Devils in the Premier League this season.
But with Brad Guzan having performed admirably between the sticks in the tournament so far, O'Neill must decide whether to stick with the 25-year-old American or opt for his compatriot and regular first-choice shot-stopper Brad Friedel.
Guzan has played in every Carling Cup match so far this term, and he saved four penalties in one match against Sunderland earlier in the competition.
However, Friedel has been in excellent form and O'Neill may decide to pick his strongest team as Villa strive for their first domestic silverware since 1996.
"Lots can happen. I don't have to make a decision yet," he said in The Sun.
"But at the end of the day, we're not just going to Wembley, we're going there to win.
"Decisions have to be made. Of course, there are a few games to be played before the final.
"Guzan has played in the League Cup and was as big a reason as anyone why we got through.
"But Brad Friedel has been exceptionally strong. I think Guzan's arrival and subsequent performances have reinvigorated Friedel.
"I'm delighted to have both."
