AC Milan forward Alexandre Pato is confident his side can come away with a first-leg win against Manchester United on Tuesday.
The Rossoneri take on the Red Devils at the San Siro in the first knockout round of the UEFA Champions League, with both teams looking to get the upper hand with the return fixture at Old Trafford just a fortnight later.
It will take a giant task for Milan to claw themselves back into contention in Serie A, with rivals Inter on course for another league title, so the European game is all the more important.
The Italians have not won the European Cup since 2007, but Brazilian star Pato thinks they have what it takes to beat United.
"It's a big match. We all know Manchester are a great side," he told Milan's official website.
"Alex Ferguson came on Friday evening to the San Siro to see our game with Udinese.
"We are calm and we know we must do our best to win on Tuesday night.
"Milan are a big side with many champions. We go to the ground to win."
The game will be the first time David Beckham lines up against his former side since his move to Real Madrid back in 2003.
Beckham is currently on loan with Milan from Los Angeles Galaxy and has revealed he expects two emotional games against United.
