Mathieu Flamini has poured cold water on reports that have suggested he is pondering a return to England by reiterating he is happy at AC Milan.
The former Arsenal favourite has been a bit-part player since swapping north London for Milan and was strongly linked with a move to Manchester City in the January transfer window.
However, having started three of Milan's last four matches, it has been intimated the Rossoneri are set to offer the France international a new deal.
And rather than return to England and the Premier League, the combative midfielder sees his future at the San Siro.
"I'm following the interest towards me of big English clubs. But my priority is Milan," Flamini said in L'Equipe.
"I'm at a legendary club, one of the greatest in the world. I feel very good there, I'm counting on imposing myself, at this moment I'm in full possession of my abilities."
Flamini signed a four-year deal with Milan in 2008. Reports suggest the Serie A giants are considering offering the 26-year-old a two-year extension, something vice-president Adriano Galliani has hinted at.
"We are counting on him," he said. "Mathieu has already had playing time, he's playing, we're pleased with him."
