Celtic loan ace happy for Parkhead stay

Landry N'Guemo is hoping to secure a permanent move to Celtic amid speculation the club have opened transfer talks with Nancy. The 24-year-old Cameroon international is currently on a season-long loan at Parkhead from the Ligue 1 outfit and has impressed with some fine displays. N'Guemo admits he was embarking on a new adventure when moving to Scottish top-flight football at the start of the season and feels he has now settled. He admits manager Tony Mowbray would like to keep his services, although it remains to be seen whether they take up their £1.8million option to keep him permanently. "When I first made the move here it was a step into the unknown," explained N'Guemo. "I didn't know how things would work out at such a prestigious club as Celtic. "But I've settled now and feel I have made a good choice. The manager has told me he wants to keep me and it would please me to stay. "As it stands I'm tied to Nancy until 2011 but we'll see what happens in the future."
