Lille have warned Eden Hazard's suitors that the Belgian midfielder remains an integral part of their plans for next season.
Hazard, who has reportedly attracted interest from several top European clubs following a string of impressive performances, signed a new long-term contract with Lille in February.
There was speculation that Lille only tied him down so they could demand a higher transfer fee in the summer.
But that notion has been dismissed by Michel Vandamme, the special advisor to chairman Michel Seydoux and an influential figure at the club.
Vandamme insists that Lille will fight to keep hold of Hazard, who admitted earlier this week that he was flattered to be linked with a move to the Premier League.
"We didn't sign him again to let him leave a few months later," Vandamme told France Football.
"There is no financial strategy behind all that. He only extended his contract as part of our sporting project.
"No one has the desire to sell him. Our wish is for him to be with us next season."
