Winger to reveal his future in next 10 days

Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has revealed he plans to make a decision on his future within the next 10 days. The Frenchman has been strongly linked with a move away from Bayern this summer with Ribery having just over a year to run on his current deal. The likes of Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid have all been linked with moves for the talented winger in the summer. Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge expressed his desire to keep Ribery at Bayern earlier on Wednesday and now the 27-year-old has confirmed he will make a final decision on his long-term future later this month. Asked by German television channel Sport1 whether he had a concrete offer from a club on the table, he replied: "No. There is at this time no club who say that I will come or to whom I am going. "Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea are still interested in me and they want me to play for them. "We have still some games to play and little recovery time. Therefore I believe that I will determine in the very near future what I will do next year."

Timescale

Pushed as to when, specifically, he said: "I hope in the next week or in the next 10 days." Ribery insists he will listen to what Bayern have to offer in the near future before reaching his decision. "I will have talks with the club leadership and with my agent," added Ribery. "And as I already said, in a week or 10 days, when the talks have been held, I will know what the situation is."
