Tomasz Cywka insists he is not thinking about his long-term future as he aims to end the season on a high at Derby.
The 21-year-old midfielder joined the Championship side on loan from Wigan last month and is out of contract with the Premier League club this summer.
But the Polish youngster claims he is not allowing himself to worry about where his future lies.
"This is my last season with Wigan," he told the
Derby Telegraph.
"When I found out I was going on loan, I just knew I had seven games at Derby to play as many minutes as I can and show the gaffer at Derby (Nigel Clough) and the gaffer at Wigan (Roberto Martinez) what I can do and how I can improve myself.
"That is all I am concentrating on. To be honest, I don't want to think about my future now and what club I will be playing for next season.
"I just want to enjoy these last three games and we will see what happens at the end of the season."
Experience
Former Derby boss Paul Jewell staved off reported interest from German giants Bayern Munich to lure Cywka to Wigan in 2006.
But the Under 21 international has been unable to break into the Latics' first team, making just two appearances in the cup.
Cywka played four games on loan at Oldham in 2006 and came off the bench in Derby's 3-1 home defeat by Ipswich before playing 90 minutes behind striker Rob Hulse in Saturday's 0-0 draw at Barnsley.
"I was happy when I was told I would be starting at Barnsley," he said.
"That's why I came here, to get some more experience of playing some proper League football.
"It's great and the more I play, the better for me. I will be doing my best every day in training, trying to push for a place in the first team on Saturday.
"We've got great fans who fill the stadium every game, so it would be great to play a full 90 minutes in front of them."
Derby are at home to fourth-bottom Crystal Palace on Saturday knowing victory will ensure their Championship survival.
