Inter Milan playmaker Wesley Sneijder could still feature against Barcelona after returning to training following his thigh strain.
There were fears that the influential Holland international could miss out on the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg at Camp Nou on Wednesday night.
But the former Real Madrid player has been named in Jose Mourinho's 25-man squad for the fixture, along with controversial striker Mario Balotelli.
Balotelli's participation had been in severe doubt after he threw his shirt to the ground following the final whistle of the 3-1 success in the first leg in Italy last week having been jeered by supporters after he stepped off the bench.
And while Inter owner Massimo Moratti believes the striker will travel the implication is he will not feature in Spain.
"I would not bet too much on it but I think there might be a possibility Balotelli could go with the team to Barcelona.
"However, it might be easier if it is all healed after the game.
"The possibility of a meeting between the coach and the player is something they will have to work out."
And Moratti does not believe Mourinho will be affected by any kind of hostility when he returns to Barcelona.
The Portuguese worked at Camp Nou in the 1990s under then manager Sir Bobby Robson, with part of his role to translate for the Englishman - earning him the nickname 'The Translator' with which he is taunted by Barca fans.
Moratti told the club's official website: "I must say that as a translator he led the way!
"He will be treated as usual, wherever you go, except in London where they loved him anyway.
"Being a strong man, Mourinho is attacked in every way and, Wednesday night, this will be part of a tactic that our opponents will use to scare us.
"But Mourinho is very professional when there are games like these, he will prepare well."
