Davies delighted to hang on to midfielder

Nottingham Forest have completed the permanent signing of on-loan midfielder Radoslaw Majewski on a three-year contract. Majewski has spent the season on loan at the City Ground from Polonia Warsaw and Forest have now stumped up £1million to hang on to the Pole. The 23-year-old has scored four times in 38 appearances for Forest and was a key figure in the club securing third spot in the Championship. However, manager Billy Davies recently expressed concerns that the uncertainty over his future may impact on the role Majewski would have in the play-offs. With a permanent move now finalised, Majewski is likely to be an influential part of Forest's bid to clinch promotion to the Premier League. "I'm delighted to be signing him," Davies told the club's official website. "He's an excellent young player and at his age and with his ability, he will only get better. "He's a great addition to the squad."
