Midfielder to join on two-year contract from Walsall

Lincoln City have agreed a deal to sign midfielder Josh O'Keefe on a two-year contract from Walsall. O'Keefe only joined Walsall last summer from Blackburn Rovers, but he struggled to make an impact during his time with the League One club. He has made 13 appearances for the Saddlers this season, but has not been offered a new contract by manager Chris Hutchings. However, the 21-year-old has quickly secured a new club after accepting a contract to link up with League Two outfit Lincoln until 2012. In addition to agreeing a deal for O'Keefe, the Imps have also been linked with a bid for Tadgh Purcell, who is out of contract at relegated Darlington.
