Leeds United midfielder Bradley Johnson is keen to commit his long-term future to the club following promotion to the Championship.
Johnson has 12 months left on his Elland Road deal and has confirmed his representatives have held talks with the West Yorkshire outfit.
The 23-year-old played a key role in Leeds' promotion after making 36 appearances in a variety of positions.
Johnson started the campaign on the left wing, although he played through the middle while also filling in at left-back when necessary.
The former Northampton Town man is enjoying his time at Leeds and would welcome the chance to extend his contract.
"My representatives are having talks with Leeds and I'd like to get it all sorted out as soon as possible," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
"There's no rush, because I'm still under contract next season, but I'd love to commit myself to the club for much longer.
"When I first came here I always hoped to get a chance to play in the Championship, but I could see the club going into the Premier League in the next two or three years."
