QPR manager Neil Warnock does not expect the change of ownership at Crystal Palace to scupper his chase of Darren Ambrose.
Warnock insists the Hoops have aleady shaken hands on a £750,000 deal to bring the midfielder to Loftus Road.
The 26-year-old was expected to be first out of the door at Selhurst Park when Palace's administrators were poised to begin liquidating the club on Tuesday.
But following their successful last-ditch deal to save the Eagles, new owners CPFC 2010 are set to try and persuade last season's 20-goal top scorer to stay.
However, Warnock does not envisage a problem, telling the Ealing Gazette: "Darren has his heart set on coming to Rangers and we've shaken hands on the deal with Palace.
"I doubt they and their new owners will want to renege on the transfer now.
"If this is all about money then we've agreed a fair deal and we're not going to increase our bid."
