Giant Birmingham striker Nikola Zigic is determined to show his true colours at this summer's World Cup.
The 6'8" Serbia frontman moved to St Andrews from Valencia last week in a deal worth £6million, signing a four-year contract with Alex McLeish's side.
With his club future now sorted, Zigic is fully focused on helping Serbia progress out of a difficult looking Group D in South Africa, where they face Germany, Australia and Ghana.
He is determined to set the record straight after failing to set the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany alight as part of the Serbia and Montenegro squad.
But Zigic insists he is a better player both mentally and physically now and he can not wait to test himself on the highest stage.

Zigic told Fifa's
official website: "I have changed a lot. I went to Germany as player with no reputation or real experience to speak of.
"Tactically, I have learned a lot and I'm in much better condition, both physically and psychologically.
"This is my World Cup, I think I can play a lead role and I want to show I'm a player that can do it in big games."
While Serbia qualified ahead of France for South Africa, they have struggled in recent friendlies, suffering a shock 1-0 loss to New Zealand last Saturday and then a goalless stalemate with Poland on Wednesday.
But Zigic retains confidence in the side, adding: "We believe we are capable of qualifying from this group.
"We know it won't be easy and we face some tough opponents, but we want to continue our form from qualifying and show that we can take on any team in the world."
