Dickson Etuhu is keen to secure a new long-term contract at Fulham, but is not worrying about his future at Craven Cottage.
The Nigerian midfielder is currently preparing for the World Cup finals and wants his immediate focus to be on the tournament in South Africa.
He will head into the World Cup on the back of playing a key role in Fulham's run to last season's Europa League final and he is enjoying being part of Roy Hodgson's squad.
Etuhu, who turns 28 next week, has just 12 months remaining on his current contract at Fulham and talks regarding extensions for any players are on hold until later in the summer.
However, while Etuhu acknowledged he has not been approached regarding a new deal at the club, he stressed he is happy with the Cottagers.
"They haven't spoke at me, but it's not like I'm out of contract - I've still got a year left," Etuhu told the Fulham Chronicle
"I'm just going to keep my head down, go to the World Cup and see what happens. I'm happy and want to stay here."
Etuhu joined Fulham from Sunderland in 2008 and he has made a total of 63 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals.
