Brazil coach Dunga is confident goalkeeper Julio Cesar will be fit in time for their World Cup opener with North Korea.
The Inter Milan keeper, who helped the Italian giants to the treble last season, sustained a lumbar strain during last Wednesday's warm-up win over Zimbabwe in Harare.
The 30-year-old missed Tuesday's friendly against Tanzania in Dar-es-Salaam to continue treatment on his injury.
But Dunga is expecting to be able to count on his first-choice keeper as Brazil open their campaign at Ellis Park on Monday.
"Julio Cesar will recover for our first game," he said.
"He is undergoing treatment and he is expected to train with the team this week."
Brazil will also face Portugal and the Ivory Coast in Group G.
