Chile coach Marcelo Bielsa did not want to become embroiled in the refereeing controversy that helped his side to a 1-0 win over Switzerland at the World Cup.
Former Liverpool winger Mark Gonzalez's 75th minute goal at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium put Chile on the brink of reaching the knockout phase from Group H.
But the match in Port Elizabeth was overshadowed by Valon Behrami's harsh first-half dismissal for Switzerland, with manager Ottmar Hitzfeld criticising Saudi Arabian match official Khalil Al-Ghamdi after the final whistle.
Bielsa, though, did not want to get involved in the furore and instead chose to focus on Chile's next, and final, group match against European champions Spain in Pretoria on Friday.
"I didn't see what happened from where I was standing," said the Argentinian, who failed to guide his homeland into the second round in the 2002 finals, when asked about Behrami's dubious red card.

"I didn't see it either on the television screen afterwards so I can't comment about this particular incident."
He added: "We haven't qualified yet, we have Spain on Friday. We will try to showcase our talents again then."
Gonzalez, who has revived his club career at CSKA Moscow after a disappointing spell with Liverpool, said that things had worked out ideally for him and his team-mates.
"This is fantastic," he announced. "We prepared hard and I was lucky enough to get the goal today, so what could be better?
"We had to be patient, but now we can pretty much dream of the last 16."
