Milos Krasic's agent insists the CSKA Moscow midfielder could still join Juventus this summer after denying Inter Milan's interest.
Krasic, who is a key member of Serbia's World Cup challenge, has been linked with a move away from Russia all summer with a host of clubs from Italy and England showing an interest in the creative midfielder.
It was believed Juventus had led the race for the 25-year-old's signature, although the latest transfer talk suggested Inter were front-runners after Rafa Benitez's appointment as manager.
But the player's agent Marko Naletilic insists a move to Turin is his client's No.1 choice and a deal is still on the cards.
"Krasic at Juventus is still possible," Naletilic, who admitted the asking price was proving the stumbling block between Juve and CSKA, told Calciomercato.
"It depends on the price, CSKA Moscow needs to lower the demand of 16.5million euros (£13.6m) to go towards Juventus' offer of 15million (£12.4m)."
Naletilic suggested a move could be completed for Krasic before the South Africa finals finish, adding: "There could be news before the end of the World Cup. Let's see what happens, it has not been abandoned."
Reports of an English move diminished with news that Krasic has his heart set on a transfer to Italy but, after revealing Juve are the only Serie A club tracking the attacking midfielder, Naletilic claims Manchester City are courting the former Vojvodina schemer.
"Are there other Italian clubs interested in Milos? No, the only other team interested is Manchester City."
