Brazil striker being tracked by Serie A giants

Luis Fabiano's agent Luis Fuentes claims that the Sevilla striker will only leave the club for Serie A giants AC Milan. Fuentes says the Brazilian, who has made quite an impression at the World Cup finals in South Africa, is being tracked by the Rossoneri. The San Siro club reportedly made an offer for the 29-year-old last July with the Campinas-born marksman pleading with the Spanish club to allow him to make the switch. "Either Fabiano joins Milan straight away, or he will stay at Sevilla for another year," Fuentes told Corriere dello Sport. Fabiano currently has just one year left to run on his current deal with Sevilla, but he seems reluctant to sign a new contract at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, holding out hope for Milan to make the first step towards signing him. Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is a known admirer of the talented Brazilian, reportedly telling media that he hopes to have the striker at his club for the new season.

Contact

However, Rojiblancos general manager Ramon Rodreiguez Verdejo Mochi Monchi told Tuttomercatoweb: "We deny that the club have had any contact with the Italian club and hope the former Sao Paulo and Porto striker will stay in Spain next season. "His agent is pushing Luis Fabiano to Milan? I don't know. I can say that until now Milan have not spoken with us. "We will meet the player after the World Cup and we will talk then. Will he remain at Sevilla? I don't know, we'll see after the World Cup," he said.
