Jonathan Greening has signed a two-year contract at Fulham after a season-long loan at Craven Cottage from West Brom.
The midfielder became an important part of the London club's squad during the 2009/10 campaign, which saw the Premier League side reach the Europa League final.
Fulham therefore wanted to keep Greening and have been able to strike a permanent deal for the former Middlesbrough man.
The Cottagers confirmed the agreement for the 31-year-old on Thursday, which was the same day that former boss Roy Hodgson was unveiled as the new manager of Liverpool.
Greening did have one year remaining on his contract at West Brom but he decided not to return to the Midlands despite the Baggies' promotion back to the Premier League.
