Rangers striker Kenny Miller is not overly concerned about Celtic overshadowing them in the transfer market.
The Hoops completed the signing of Welsh midfielder Joe Ledley on Monday while Gers manager Walter Smith has admitted he is struggling to tie down deals because of the club's financial constraints.
Ledley became Celtic's third signing of the summer, while Rangers have lost Kris Boyd, Nacho Novo, DaMarcus Beasley and Stevie Smith.
However, Miller is optimistic after David Weir and Kirk Broadfoot extended their Ibrox spells, while he is also pleased at the return of Andy Webster, who was on loan from Dundee United.
"There are positives," the 30-year-old told
Rangers TV. "We faced the prospect of losing at least six players in the summer.
"As it turned out we lost four and managed to keep a couple. The fact we managed to keep Davie and big Kirk is a big plus.
"We'll be looking to bring in another few to replace the lads that have gone, but there's plenty of time to do that."

On Webster, Miller added: "It's another player coming back from a really successful loan spell.
"Not only did he win the Scottish Cup, he captained them and took them to third.
"He had a fantastic season and that was recognised by his nomination for the player of the year towards the end of the season.
"We've not signed anybody but with Andy coming back it's another body to add to the squad."
For Miller, though, the biggest positive for Rangers so far this summer is the decision by manager Walter Smith to stay on for another year.
"I don't think it's only myself, a lot of people respond to him," Miller remarked. "He treats you the right way and the players appreciate that.
"Everyone said at the end of the season the most important thing for the club was getting a bit of stability with the gaffer's future.
"Everyone wanted him to stay and the fact the club got that sorted was a big bonus and a big signing in itself. The players definitely got a lift from that."
