Paraguay striker Nelson Valdez has not ruled out a move to Sunderland or Fulham, but is targeting a Spanish club.
Borussia Dortmund forward Valdez is set to hold exit talks with the Bundesliga outfit this week as he looks to ply his trade outside Germany.
The 26-year-old, who is contracted at Dortmund until June 2012, has failed to establish himself as a regular at the club since fellow striker and compatriot Lucas Barrios arrived last summer.
Valdez is reportedly being chased by clubs in England, France and Russia, with both Sunderland and Fulham apparently keen on bringing the striker to the Premier League.
But the South American says he is most interested in a switch to La Liga, and revealed a Spanish outfit have already made a favourable offer.
"I'd prefer to go to Spain," Valdez told
BILD.
"I have been in Germany for nine years now and the country has become my adopted home. My children were born here.
"But I am not going to move within the Bundesliga, I can no longer stand the cold! I like Spain and from there I have received the most flattering offer."
He added: "Should it turn out to be England in the end, I will be moving either to Sunderland or Fulham."

Reports suggest promoted La Liga club Hercules are behind the bid made for Valdez, which is understood to be worth £2.5million.
But with Dortmund reportedly looking to receive £4.5m for the striker, the deal could yet fail to get off the ground.
"In principle both parties have agreed to move Nelson on," said Dortmund general manager Michael Zorc.
"But it is a fact we are not going to allow him a transfer that does not reflect his value. We do not need to discuss a transfer if there is no suitable offer."
