City to pounce for Spurs starlet

Head of football operations Adam Pearson has confirmed Hull City are interested in signing Tottenham youngster John Bostock. The 18-year-old has struggled to establish himself at White Hart Lane since joining and spent the latter part of last season on loan at Brentford. The former Crystal Palace man recently expressed a desire to play first-team football after failing to break into Harry Redknapp's first team. New boss Nigel Pearson is keen on taking the midfielder to the KC Stadium on a season-long loan and Adam Pearson is hopeful of concluding a deal. "John is a player the manager admires and hopefully we can get something sorted," he told the Daily Mail.
