Genoa have announced the signing of Brazilian defender Rafinha from Schalke.
Rafinha has signed a four-year contract with the Serie A club after passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.
The 24-year-old right-back joined Schalke in 2005 from Coritiba in his homeland, playing 153 Bundesliga games as well as participating in three UEFA Champions League campaigns with the Royal Blues.
Rafinha becomes Genoa's fifth signing of the summer following Luca Toni, Eduardo, Miguel Veloso and on-loan Hoffenheim midfielder Franco Zuculini.
