Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp is reluctant to part with Robbie Keane after seeing him shine again in pre-season.
The Irishman bagged two goals on Saturday as Spurs came from behind to secure a 3-2 victory over Fiorentina.
Keane has been in fine form since returning to White Hart Lane this summer from a loan spell at Celtic.
He joined the Hoops last season after slipping down the pecking order at Tottenham, fuelling speculation that he could be moved on.
However, he has again demonstrated his knack of finding the back of the net over recent weeks and Redknapp admits he is loath to sell a player of Keane's quality.
"I don't want to sell him. I don't know how you replace him," he told Sky Sports News.
"He's a good player, he scores goals, his enthusiasm for the game is infectious and second to none and he trains great.
"It's alright letting good players go, but it's trying to find something better, that's very difficult. He's a good player."
Redknapp was full of praise for his frontman after watching him inspire Spurs to an impressive victory in their latest friendly encounter.
He added: "We went 1-0 down early and they were difficult to break down. We managed to get it back to 1-1 and then went 2-1 down and then Robbie popped up with two great finishes.
"That's the type of run and finishing he has been showing all pre-season. He was outstanding."
