Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher claims he wants to remain at the club for the duration of his career.
The 26-year-old Scotland international came through the ranks at Old Trafford as a youngster and has firmly established himself as an important player in the first-team squad.
Now he is preparing for another campaign in the top-flight as Sir Alex Ferguson's men look to wrestle the Premier League title back off Chelsea.
Fletcher has so far made more than 250 appearances for the Red Devils, and is hoping to emulate United legends Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes, who are still performing at the top level well into their 30s.
"I can't ever imagine being anywhere else," Fletcher told the club's official website.
"There is nowhere better than Manchester United and if I can play my whole career at this club I will be a very happy man.
"Everything about the club - the fans, the facilities and the structure - is fantastic and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
"There is something very special about staying at one club for your whole career - the likes of Gary, Ryan and Paul are all legends at Manchester United and to get anywhere close to that would be a real achievement."
Fletcher's current deal at Old Trafford runs until 2012, and despite times earlier in his career when it seemed Fletcher would be forced to move away from United in order to get regular first-team action, he is now regarded as a key man.
