Fulham midfielder Zoltan Gera has played down speculation that he could be reunited with former manager Roy Hodgson at Liverpool.
The 31-year-old Hungary captain has been linked with a switch to Anfield, as Hodgson prepares to raid his old club for the attack-minded player.
Gera made 27 Premier League appearances for the Cottagers last season and played a key role as his side reached the Europa League final.
German outfit Werder Bremen are also thought to be interested in his signature, but Gera insists he knows nothing about a possible move to Liverpool and is focused on the upcoming campaign under new boss Mark Hughes.
"I do not know anything about this," he said.
"I was happy at Fulham with Roy, but he has moved on to Liverpool and I am still at Fulham.
"Mark Hughes is a very good manager, we have had some great training sessions.
"He wants a different Fulham, and I think the team will be capable of these new things."
On his side's chances in the top-flight next term, Gera added: "Everybody expects a lot from Fulham, but we need to stay on our level, with a target of the top 10.
"If we can do that, it will be great for us. I would like to play as I did last season, want to improve and be better.
"I know it is difficult to play in the first 11, but I will do my best."
Gera led Hungary out against England on Wednesday night in a friendly at Wembley, and although they took a 1-0 lead, a brace from Reds captain Steven Gerrard saw the Three Lions overcome the deficit and come away with a 2-1 win.
The Hungarian star admits his admiration for midfielder Gerrard, and says England showed character in what was a difficult environment.
"The England team is full of top players. Against us, they played under pressure because the supporters were not happy," he remarked.
"But they showed character, because they were 1-0 down and then changed the game.
"I love Steven Gerrard as a player - he is a great captain for England and scored two goals, he is one of the best midfielders in the world."
