Wolves midfielder David Jones is still hoping to sign a new contract with the club following his stunning weekend goal.
Jones scored a fine volley on Saturday as his side beat Stoke 2-1 at Molineux, after negotiations over a new deal broke down the previous week.
If the two parties do not reach an agreement then Jones could potentially agree a pre-contract deal with a new club in six months.
The former Manchester United academy product, 25, wants to get a deal sorted and is looking to build on his performance against the Potters.
"I don't think it's put my price up," Jones said of his goal in the Daily Mirror.
"With the contract there are a few sticking points but I hope they can get sorted. It's nothing major in my eyes.
"I always give 100 per cent anyway. It hasn't affected me at all - it just makes me more hungry to stay at this club.
"The manager has said that he wants me to stay and if I can keep playing like that then I can help this club progress."
On his strike against Stoke, Jones added: "I've been working on that free-kick but not had many opportunities to do it. I always practise them so it was nice that it actually came off.
"I need a few good performances now - this is only the first game of the season."
