Kevin-Prince Boateng has admitted that he is totally committed to AC Milan following his complicated transfer to the Serie A giants.
Milan's rivals Genoa signed the midfielder for a reported fee of £5million from Championship side Portsmouth earlier in the week before immediately sending the 23-year-old out on loan to the San Siro.
The Rossoblu will look to make a profit on the Ghana international as they are expected to sell him to the seven-time European champions next year, provided that he is a success in Milan.
Boateng, who will wear the No.27 shirt for Milan, insists that he is 100 per cent committed to the Rossoneri.
"I don't care about how Milan brought me here, I feel 100 per cent Rossonero and I have to show that I can play at this level," he said.
"I'm not afraid of the competition, I know it won't be easy to get in the team but I'll work hard and learn from (Andrea) Pirlo, (Clarence) Seedorf and (Gennaro) Gattuso."
The midfielder insists that he is prepared to play anywhere to get in the Milan starting line-up.
"I'm ready to play in any midfield position and to give 100 per cent every day.
"This is a big step in my career, I have to thank God and my family and now is the time for me to pay back those who believed in me.
"This is a dream come true, my team-mates, the staff, the coach, they've all welcomed me as family and I've never before seen a training centre like Milanello."
The German-born player, who impressed during Ghana's World Cup campaign, scored three goals in 22 appearances at Fratton Park.
