Rangers midfielder Steven Davis is relishing the prospect of facing Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League.
Walter Smith's men travel to Old Trafford in the opening Group C encounter next week hoping to avenge a 3-0 defeat at the same stage of the competition seven years ago.
Davis, 25, is no stranger to Old Trafford, though, having faced Sir Alex Ferguson's men on several occasions during a five-year spell in English football with Aston Villa and Fulham.
However, he has yet to taste success at the Theatre of Dreams and the Northern Ireland international is looking to put that right next Tuesday.
"I've never won or got a result there so hopefully I can put that to bed," he said.
Davis is in no doubt his side will face an uphill battle to take anything from the clash coming up against a side full of international quality and has pinpointed Wayne Rooney as the main danger.
"We know how difficult the task ahead of us is," he added. "Manchester United are a great team. It will be a great game to play in and a great atmosphere and obviously one the fans and players will enjoy.
"Rooney's a class player, who's always going to be difficult to play against.
"There's a number of players we need to worry about not just one, but he would be one of the key players."
