Bayern Munich have expressed their disappointment that goalkeeper Michael Rensing has not found a new club.
Former keeper still without club
Bayern Munich chairman Uli Hoeness and chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge have expressed their disappointment that goalkeeper Michael Rensing has not found a new club.
The 26-year-old shot-stopper was released by Bayern this summer after his contract expired in June, following a 10-year spell with the club.
Rensing had been linked with a move to Spain, with Getafe and Hercules reportedly in the frame, but nothing ever materialised.
Hoeness told BILD: "It's a certain drama. He was quite stuffed, especially after August 31st. He is a young lad and he is powerful, too.
"We haven't yet seen the end of the matter."
Meanwhile, Rummenigge added: "I am still of the opinion he is a good goalkeeper. It is a pity to see him being without a club actually."
Former Germany-U21 international Rensing was the starting keeper of Bayern in the 2008/09 season, but fell down the pecking order and lost his place between the Bayern sticks to veteran Hans-Jorg Butt.
