Rosenborg defender Vadim Demidov is looking forward to joining Primera Liga club Real Sociedad.
The 23-year-old will move to the San Sebastian in January on a free transfer after penning a three-year deal at the Spanish outfit.
Demidov claims several clubs were interested in his services, but is pleased to be making the switch to Spain.
"It's nice that it is done," Demidov told VG. "There were several clubs who wanted me, but Real Sociedad have been watching me for two years.
"They know my qualities as a stopper, but they are also happy that I can play in midfield."
